 Por tercer año consecutivo, la Conferencia Internacional sobre el futuro de los superyates y la Superyacht Cup que se celebra en verano, han elegido Palma como escenario. Cerca de un centenar de asistentes, alojados en un hotel emblemático, han disfrutando de nuestro clima y de la especial atención con la que en esta comunidad tratamos a nuestros visitantes. También los residentes y turistas han disfrutado del espectáculo de contemplar la bahía de Palma surcada por magníficos superyates con sus velas de múltiples colores.
Durante la Conferencia Internacional, celebrada los días 20 y 21 de junio, se debatieron temas de enorme interés para el mundo de los grandes yates y la náutica en general. Curiosamente, nuestro gobierno gasta enormes sumas de dinero en la promoción del turismo de congresos, cuando en el sector náutico vienen solos. La razón: tenemos todos los ingredientes para ello. Sin embargo, no vimos ni una sola mención reflejada en los medios de comunicación de las islas de este acontecimiento.

For the third consecutive year, the International Conference on the future of superyachts and the Superyacht Cup, have chosen Palma as their setting . Around a hundred people , housed in a landmark hotel , have enjoyed our climate and the special attention in this community with which we treat our visitors. Also, residents and tourists have enjoyed the spectacle of seeing the bay of Palma lined by magnificent superyachts with multi-colored sails
During the International Conference held on the 20th and 21st of June, issues of great interest to the world of large yachts and sailing in general were discussed. Interestingly , our government spends huge sums of money on tourism promotion conferences , when in the marine industry we come alone. The reason: we have all the ingredients for it. However, we saw not a single mention of this event in the media of the islands. |

 El pasado 15 de junio se reunieron en Madrid representantes de ANEN con la Directora General de la Marina Mercante, Isabel Durántez, con el objetivo de revisar y defender las alegaciones presentadas en su día por la Asociación Nacional de Empresas Náuticas respecto al Real Decreto que regulará el Abanderamiento y Registro de Embarcaciones de Recreo. La nueva titular de la DGMM ha transmitido al equipo de ANEN la disposición favorable de esta institución para que el texto de este Real Decreto recoja las principales alegaciones presentadas por la asociación.
Con ello, la DGMM manifiesta de nuevo su posición a favor de las necesidades del sector de la náutica de recreo, un hecho que contribuye además a la posibilidad de conseguir una legislación específica para la actividad de la náutica de recreo.

On June 15th a meeting was held in Madrid with representatives of ANEN and DGMM with, Isabel Durántez. The objective was reviewing and defending the allegations made at the time by the National Association of Marine for the Royal Decree to regulate The Ship & Yachts Registration . The new director has conveyed to DGMM and ANEN equipment readiness of this institution so that the text of this Royal Decree will sett out the main arguments presented by the association.
Thus , the DGMM manifest highlights new position for the sector's needs of recreational boating , a fact that also contributes to the possibility of achieving a specific legislation for the activity of water sports.

 La 5ª Conferencia Internacional ‘The Future of Superyachts’, la regata de la Superyacht Cup 2010 y la jornada celebrada en la Cámara de Comercio alrededor de las ‘Oportunidades para la industria y el turismo náutico’ hicieron de Palma uno de los principales focos internacionales de la actividad náutica entre los días 20 y 27 de junio.
Del 20 al 21 se celebró la anual Conferencia Internacional, que reunió a más de 100 delegados de elite de la náutica y fue inaugurada por la presidenta de la Asociación de Empresas Náuticas de Baleares, Margarita Dahlberg, en nombre del presidente de la Cámara de Comercio de Mallorca, Joan Gual de Torrella, que no pudo asistir.

The 5th International Conference " The Future of Superyachts ', the race of the Superyacht Cup 2010 and the important day held in the Chamber of Commerce around the ' Opportunities for industry and nautical tourism ' made Palma one of the main sources of international Boating activity between the 20th and 27th of June.
From the 20th to the 21st the annual International Conference was held , which brought together over 100 delegates from elite of sailing and was opened by the president of the Marine Industries Association of the Balearic Islands , Margarita Dahlberg, on behalf of President of the Chamber of Commerce de Mallorca , Joan Gual de Torrella , who could not attend. |
