A General Assembly with many important guests.. PDF Print E-mail
logo AENBTomorrow, February 25th, the Marine Business Association will hold its Balearic Ordinary General Assembly of 2010 in the rooms of the Real Club Nautico de Palma.
 
It will host a large number of authority figures , already confirmed...The attendance of the  Tourism council , Joana Barceló, the Regional Minister for Commerce, Industry and Energy, Francesca Vives, the Councilor of Public Works and Housing, Jaume Carbonero, the President of the Authority of Port de Balears, Francesc Triay, the CEO of Fairs and Congresses of the Balearics, Pere Perelló, the director of the Palma Boat Show, Chema Sanz ANEN general director, Alexander Landaluce, the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Mallorca, Joan Gual Torrella and CAEB president, Josep Oliver.

We will also have the presence of the Capitan Maritimo of Palma, José Porcel Scales, the chief radio inspector, Ronaldo Narvaez, the maritime Chief Inspector, Eduardo Comas, as well as representatives of other nautical associations including  FENIB, with the presence of its president Tomeu Bestard.

The day, which is scheduled to host  many partners, will begin at 17:30 with a series of presentations on opportunities in times of crisis for SMEs in the marine industry. Continues at 19:30 with the holding of the General Assembly.And at 21:00 there will be the gala dinner with the 3rd edition of the prizegiving of  AENB Awards. This year the awards are for Mallorca Boat Service, as 'senior partner', and for Rolling Stock, as 'Career progressor'.
The deadline to confirm attendance at the dinner, by partners and associates, is 22nd February.

Speakers include Alejandro Landaluce, Anen CEO, speaking of the actions undertaken in the past year by  the National Association of Marine ( which is attached the AENB), and expected goals in 2010 marred by the economic crisis.

Also taking part Ana Belen Baptist of FEMXA Group, with the paper "Vocational training for employment '
And the consulting and audit quality  leader, Maria Angel Leal, with' Companies in nautical crisis and adaptation to new times: tools for managing change '. In addition, a technician from  AENB will analyse the  web pages.

For the president of the AENB "it is important that as many as possible attend because  the papers and proposals on this day will provide the main priorities of the board of the association towards this coming year. In moments of crisis like the present, we need ideas and input from those most familiar with the sector, entrepreneurs themselves, "says Margarita Dahlberg.

Members who are unable to attend the General Assembly may delegate their vote to another partner. From the website of the association, www.aenb.es, you can access the form of delegation to vote in the Associates Services section to , within the folder General Assembly 2010.

19:30: Second General Assembly call

21:00: Gala Dinner. Delivery of awards of AENB to Ports of the Balearic Islands as "Entity involved in the progress of marine industry, Boat Service Mallorca,  as 'senior partner', and Rolling Stock, for its 'Career progressor'. The winners will receive a gift with marine motifs by the painter Jose Aranda.

Agenda Ordinary General Assembly:

1: Reading and approval of previous minutes.
2: Presentation and approval, if applicable, the income statement for the year 2009.
3: Presentation and approval, if applicable, the financial budget for 2010.
4: Report of Activities of the association.
5: Forthcoming shows: Time to speak of active participation, to design an action plan of the association, adjusted for the direct needs of member companies to address the crisis.
6: Any other business.
